What Treatment Looks Like

1. Free Consultation

Dr. Thresher examines your teeth and bite, reviews imaging, and tells you whether treatment is needed, which options would work, roughly how long each would take, and what each costs. There is no charge, and you are not obligated to proceed.

2. Digital Scan and Treatment Plan

If you go ahead, we take a 3D scan with the iTero Element scanner instead of traditional impressions. That scan drives the treatment plan, and for aligner cases, it is what the aligners are manufactured from.

3. Fitting

Braces are bonded to the teeth, or your first set of aligners is fitted and checked. You leave knowing how to clean around your appliance and what to do if something comes loose.

4. Regular Visits

Braces are adjusted periodically. Aligner patients typically come in every six to eight weeks to pick up the next set and have their progress checked. Visits are short, and self-ligating braces tend to make them shorter still.

5. Retention

Once teeth are where they should be, the appliance comes off, and a retainer keeps them there.
